My friend John enters competitions in which he films adverts for companies 'crowdsourcing' (getting cheap labour) for new advertising campaigns. Last night we stalked the streets of London getting footage for an ad for an international hotel chain. It was fun, but I hardly lifted my camera all night.
I only went out with my 50mm lens, I shot at 800ISO all evening and I never had an aperture smaller than 5.2 or something, you know, if that kind of thing matters to you.Monday, March 14

St Mary Redcliffe, Bristol:
St Mary Redcliffe is an Anglican parish church located in the Redcliffe district of the English port city of Bristol, close to the city centre. From Behind a Perforated Newspaper - *Click*
I've not been brave enough to play the "May I Take Your Picture?" Game for a while now, but I've been audacious enough to sneak some whilst my subjects weren't aware.
I have mixed feelings the results, I like the distance between me and the person I'm taking a photo of, I like that I can dwarf, obscure and multiply the people in frame. I don't like the lack of engagement I have with that person though.
