The first time I watched The Blair Witch project was on my home computer on a pirated but perfect copy, alone in my room and in the house, and in total darkness save the light of my screen. Apart from the running and screaming in that movie I remember the strange wooden idols that hung throughout the wood. Strangely crafted omens of the trouble that was about to come for the protagonists. These photos are of similar items found whilst I was checking out the Walthamstow Arts Trail. Hopefully they were left by an artist and not a murderous witch.
