Last night the Annual Walthamstow and District Photo Society Exhibition began at St. Mary's Church's Welcome Centre. The night began with a few introductions and then came the awards. In short, the awards all went to the right people, sometimes for the wrong photo but all in all the most talented of the exhibitors received fitting accolades.
It was a treat to see the clubs photos presented all in one place, and although there is a preference for Natural History photography amongst the majority of members, there is still a breadth of subject matter and style.
I really must link to some of the winners' online photos as there are some gems amongst them, at the moment I'm on my iPhone and it's too much hassle to create links and such.
The exhibition goes on all week. Tonight, Tuesday 26th, is a viewing only night and a great chance to really get to see the photos. I will arm myself with a pen and paper and link to a selection of online work.
